Thank you to those 4 who have already done so. Please remember, I need 4 chaperones \ud83d\ude42<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Our spelling words this week will be plurals with &#8220;es&#8221;&#8211;words that mean more than one: boxes, witches, dishes, fixes, sandwiches. The Dolch words: only, much, bring, drink, light.<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;re still focused on informational text reading. This week will be reading about plants to combine what we&#8217;re doing in science. We&#8217;ll read a non fiction article and answer questions.<\/p>\n<p>Science will be planting seeds and observing their growth by changing certain things about the growing conditions: light\/no light; water\/no water, etc.<\/p>\n<p>Math moves on to even\/odd groupings today. To know if a number is even or odd it needs a &#8220;partner&#8221;. If there is one leftover after making groups of 2, it&#8217;s an odd number.<\/p>\n<p>Social studies continues with change over time in a community. We&#8217;ve been looking at some old pictures of Dearborn which the students have been really enjoying.<\/p>\n<p>Our writing continues with finding more facts and information about the animal each student is researching.<\/p>\n<p>Enjoy the week!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Please send in the permission slips for the field trip as soon as possible.
