Dolch words: done, been, take, laugh, eight.<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;re continuing our non fiction reading strategy of reading for facts and information using both photos and text, including captions.<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;re also continuing reading about our animals and finding facts.<\/p>\n<p>The skill in math this week is using measurement to compare lengths: If a pencil is 6 cm. long and a paperclip is 3 cm, how much longer is the pencil? How much shorter is the paperclip?<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;re also continuing with our history unit in social studies and looking at change over time in houses and roads in a community. For example, roads went from dirt roads (for walking only), wagon trails, brick roads to paved roads.<\/p>\n<p>Enjoy the week \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>So wonderful to see sunshine!
