School begins at 9:35.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Our class is NWEA testing this week Tuesday and Friday. Next week, Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>Library books are due Wednesday so new ones can be checked out Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>Spelling words this week: churn, burst, first, third, clerk, her, after, under, together,hurt<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;ll be continuing our geometry unit in math with 3D shapes.<\/p>\n<p>Our writing focus now shifts to opinion writing for the next 3 weeks. They&#8217;ll be writing their own opinion on different topics and learning to use appropriate transitions to connect sentences.<\/p>\n<p>The reading strategy for the next few weeks, is reading 2 different versions of a story then comparing and contrasting both.<\/p>\n<p>Enjoy the week!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Late Start tomorrow, Wednesday.
