I am very pleased to announce that we have raised a total of $9,355.00 for the American Heart Association.  Additionally, we had 181 staff and students take &#8220;The Challenge&#8221; by making daily healthy lifestyle choices (kind deed, exercise, prepared for the day etc), breaking last year&#8217;s record of 165 students!  Nice job, Flyers!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During our KHC finale, I was excited to have the students participate in small groups as they took a tour of the heart as they participated in different stations!  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Station 1: Heart Pumping Station (thunder stick)<\/li><li>Station 2: Cholesterol Buster Station (basketball jump shots)<\/li><li>Station 3: Veins Station (jump ropes)<\/li><li>Station 4: Four Chambers of the Heart Station (bounce ball and scooters)<\/li><li>Station 5: Arteries Station (obstacle course)<\/li><li>Station 6: Food Choice Station (gaga ball)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Thank you for your support!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Best,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mr. Harvey<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Greetings Flyers Family, This was another very successful year for our KHC event!
