Two can be seen on this leaf. The other one wandered off of the plant and I&#8217;m not sure if he will survive for right now. All I can do is put him back on the food and hope.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That&#8217;s the trouble with raising caterpillars. You can do everything to help them be successful and they will still find a way to not survive sometimes. Out in the wild they have about a 3% chance of survival against all of the predators out there and their survival rate is much higher in my care even if sometimes there are some losses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I will update in a few days when they are big enough to see on camera!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I know they&#8217;re very difficult to see. iPhone cameras don&#8217;t take very good closeups.
