We are struggling with this week’s content in most of my 7th grade sections. I’m going to search through my resources to try to find something helpful to clarify this content. However, I wanted to post some information here as well for students who study at home.<\/p>\n

  2. How many molecules of each reactant are there?<\/li>\n
  3. What happens if you have all of the molecules you need, but no energy from the Sun or light source?<\/li>\n
  4. Where does each molecule get inside the leaf?<\/li>\n
  5. Where does this reaction happen inside the leaf?<\/li>\n
  6. How many molecules of each product are there?<\/li>\n
  7. What happens to the product after they are made?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    1. Carbon dioxide (CO2) and water (H2O).<\/li>\n
    2. 6 molecules of each<\/li>\n
    3. Nothing will happen. The reactants will not break apart or rearrange unless there is energy from a light source to start the reaction.<\/li>\n
    4. Water enters through the roots\/stem\/xylem\/veins of the plant from the ground. Carbon dioxide enters through the stomata from the air.<\/li>\n
    5. The reaction happens inside of the chloroplasts.<\/li>\n
    6. 1 molecule of glucose (C6H12O6) and 6 molecules of oxygen (O2)<\/li>\n
