I would like to take this moment to welcome you to a brand new school year!\u00a0 I know that 2009-2010 is going to be the best yet!\u00a0 I am looking forward to being your music teacher this year and have many fun and exciting activities planned for you.\u00a0 We will be doing some online learning in our 7th and 8th grade Music classes this year so you will need to check this blog often.\u00a0 Those who do not have home access to a computer may need to visit the Public library for certain assignments.\u00a0 We (the students and I) will make sure that the blog is updated with all relevant concert and event information.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Also new this year…Our music classes will be run more like a business.\u00a0 That is to say that I will be appointing department chairs and managers who will be responsible for a team.\u00a0\u00a0 They will be responsible for writing a business plan related to thier particular\u00a0area as well as identifying specific duties (job description) and recruiting a team.\u00a0 \u00a0We will hold team meetings in which they will give me updates on their Departments.\u00a0 I hope to teach our students relevant management skills that will help them in the business world.\u00a0 Let’s get started, we have work to do!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
