It was so great seeing many of you during reading night! We have a short and busy week ahead of us. Please make sure your child reads during the break and logs onto educationcity.com and raz-kids.com. I will be sending home a short packet this Wednesday. Again, thank you to everyone who came in read a book to our class this month. (pictures below) Below are some topics we will be learning about this week.<\/p>\n

Spelling:<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Students will be adding the suffix –ed<\/em> to the end of verbs. Here are the spelling words for the week:<\/p>\n

add, added, want, wanted, stay, stayed, jump, jumped<\/span><\/p>\n

Math:<\/span> <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

This week students will be solving addition and subtraction word problems. Students will also be making groups of ten using tally marks and ten frames.<\/p>\n
