Students will be getting their third report card real soon. Parent-teacher conferences are next Wednesday. I will be notifying <strong>some<\/strong> parents this week and scheduling a conference to discuss your child&#8217;s progress. All parents will receive a report this week that indicates your child&#8217;s current reading level. Below are some topics we will be covering this week.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Spelling:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This week we will be reviewing past spelling patterns. Here are this weeks spelling words:<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">playing, yell, small, stop, globe, who, what<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Math:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Students will take the unit 7 math test this <strong>Thursday<\/strong>. The study guide will be sent home on Monday. Please make sure to review the study guide with your child and assist them with problems they may be struggling with.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Writing:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Students have been working on opinion writing these past few weeks. Each student wrote an opinion piece about the spring season. I will be checking their writing and grading it using a writing rubric.
