I look forward to witnessing the academic growth that will take place this year among our students. There are many factors that ensure or limit this growth.<\/p>\n<p>One of the most essential factors is parent\/teacher communication. Please make sure to register for this blog. Also, feel free to email me at hamidm2@dearbornschools.org.\u00a0 Furthermore, please ensure that your child is obtaining an adequate amount of sleep.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Your child will also have a folder that will go home<strong> EVERYDAY<\/strong>. This folder will include homework that <strong>MUST<\/strong> be completed and important notes that may need to be returned to school. Also, please make sure to send a snack with your child everyday. Only <strong>HEALTHY<\/strong> snacks are permissible.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I <strong>EXPECT<\/strong> every child to be reading <strong>EVERY<\/strong> night for at least 20-30 minutes. This is part of their homework and students will be held accountable through reflections which will be checked for completion.
