On Tuesdays and Thursdays, homework will be to write in a journal. \u00a0I will be sending home today both a journal book and a calendar of topics for September and October. \u00a0You can choose any of the topics on the calendar or any topic of your choice. \u00a0Please see format below on \u00a0how to complete the journal. \u00a0If your child\/children asks you to spell, tell them to stretch out the sounds of the word \u00a0and write what he\/she hears. \u00a0We do this until they learn to spell it in later grades. \u00a0This is how we approach spelling of unknown words. \u00a0Thanks.<\/p>\n
