Starting today, we will begin an exciting reading challenge called Book-It!\u00a0 I have provided a blank October calendar for you and your child to keep track of each day that your child reads or is read to.\u00a0 I am asking that students read for 20 minutes per day. Since all students are already doing this, all I ask is that you fill out the calendar in addition to the log.\u00a0 So please put a check mark or an X on the calendar of the days you read or were read to and parents please sign at the bottom and return to class at the end of each month.\u00a0 We will post our Book-It Reader Roster and keep track of all those that participate.\u00a0 At the end of a completed month, your child will receive a Pizza Hut coupon for a free personal pan pizza!\u00a0 Happy Reading!<\/p>\n
