The Constitution is the highest law in the United States. All other laws come from the Constitution. It was written in 1787. In 1787, a group of men met to write the Constitution. They did not like the way the country was going. They fixed it by creating the Constitution. We call these men The Framers. The Constitution gives us <\/span><span style=\"color: #993300;\">rights.The Bill of Rights is a part of the \u000bConstitution. \u000bThe Bill of Rights protect your right to say what you want.
