Next week, from Monday, September 15 through Wednesday, September 17, I will be out of the building at a science professional development meeting. \u00a0My sub will be Mr. Laginess, who was a pre-student and student teacher at Geer Park. \u00a0The kids are excited he’s coming, and he’s excited to be here!<\/p>\n

If you have not corrected and returned your child’s emergency card, please do it on Monday. \u00a0Please make sure all information is accurate on the front AND the back, and that you sign it.<\/p>\n

Spiral math quizzes came home today. \u00a0Please make sure to sign them and return them on Monday as well. \u00a0All spiral math quiz scores will be averaged together at the end of the cardmarking and will count as one test grade for math. \u00a0Students should be studying their daily spiral math, which is currently a review of fourth grade math concepts, and asking questions in class if they are not understanding something. \u00a0SRBs would be helpful for spiral math as well.<\/p>\n
