{"id":2131,"date":"2012-01-22T19:06:42","date_gmt":"2012-01-23T00:06:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.dearbornschools.org\/gwizdza\/?p=2131"},"modified":"2012-01-22T19:06:42","modified_gmt":"2012-01-23T00:06:42","slug":"from-our-pta-president","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/gwizdz\/2012\/01\/22\/from-our-pta-president\/","title":{"rendered":"From Our PTA President"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma;font-size: x-small\">Hello PTA Family,<\/p>\n<p>First and foremost, PTA would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year!\u00a0 I would like to thank all the parent\/staff volunteers during our Holiday Shop.\u00a0 It was a great success.\u00a0 I would like to especially thank\u00a0the Awada Family from Mrs. Mardini&#8217;s class for donating bags of toys for\u00a0PTA to sell.\u00a0 We made 100% profit\u00a0on the toys that the Awada Family donated. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma;font-size: x-small\">Next on our agenda:\u00a0The PTA meeting on January 24 is\u00a0rescheduled for <strong>Wednesday, February 1 @3pm <\/strong>in the Media Center.\u00a0The agenda for the February meeting will focus on Valentine&#8217;s Day.\u00a0In the past PTA have sold heart shaped lollipops.\u00a0\u00a0The\u00a0kids were able to purchase them during\u00a0that week and were distributed on February 14\u00a0after school.<br \/>\nWe will also briefly discuss our annual Bookfair which will take place on March 12-16.
