Starting November 9th<\/sup> Pizza Day is now \u201cPizza Days\u201d as parents, students, and the entire community can support the Foundation and your local pizzerias by simply placing an order for your favorite pizza on any Wednesday In November \u2013 making it a W.I.N. for everyone<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

For years the Pizza Day campaign has been successful in helping to support local pizzerias and raise awareness and dollars for the Foundation. Last year, the Foundation streamlined the process making it easier for local pizzerias to participate and increasing the amount of exposure these businesses get for taking part in the program. The additional days also gives the community more opportunities to participate. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cSmall business owners are hit most in these economic conditions and their time and resources should be respected.\u00a0 So last year we fortified a great tradition and it proved to be a great success.\u00a0 We hope it will continue to be for years to come,<\/span>\u201d stated Eddie N. Fakhoury, Executive Director of the Foundation.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Education Foundation is a licensed 501c3 non-profit organization that helps enhance the education that students receive from Dearborn Public Schools through grants to fund technology, equipment and innovative programs not funded by the school district\u2019s budget.\u00a0 Since its inception the organization has funded more than $1,300,000 million in grants.<\/span><\/p>\n

All funds raised by the Foundation go to fund teacher grants that are submitted throughout the year.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n
