First Grade<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

This week the first graders were learning about the sun and how it gives us heat and light.\u00a0 The students discovered that this\u00a0occurs due to\u00a0the Earth orbiting the sun.\u00a0 They\u00a0 explored the Earth revolving using a pie\u00a0pan with a sun (yellow play-dough) placed in the middle of the pan.\u00a0 They had\u00a0 Earth (a marble) revolve the sun staying in orbit.<\/p>\n

Second Grade<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

The second Graders are continuing to work on Landforms.\u00a0 This week they played various matching and memory games where they had to match the word, picture and definition of various landforms.<\/p>\n
