Hello 8th graders and Parents,<\/em>
The link to complete the HFEC\/MFG\/Education Application is below.  Before you click and begin completing your application take note these things:<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. H<\/em>FEC\/MFG\/EDU are full day high schools, Monday through Friday, 8am-2:30pm with bus transportation to and from your DPS home high school<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. These high schools are o<\/em>pen to incoming 9th graders who can commit to 5 years.\u00a0<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3.  Students who are successful, will receive their high school diploma AND 2 years of college credit, paid for by Dearborn Public Schools in 2029.<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. These high schools are located on HFC Main Campus, 5101 Evergreen, Dearborn MI\u00a0 48128 (BLDG A, Lower Level)<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. TO BEGIN THE APPLICATION You must be logged into YOUR school email account, NOT a friends or moms etc<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. When you click the link, the first page is just information, READ IT!<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. After you hit NEXT, you will be in the\u00a0application\u00a0process, make sure your parents are with you when you complete the\u00a0application for their contact information.\u00a0<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  8. Recommendation letters will be sent after testing (Reading on a Saturday in March) no date has been set yet<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  9. Last year we received almost 500 applications.\u00a0\u00a0Please be patient and check your email often.\u00a0 It is very important to include not only your email but other family members as well<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  10. One application per student and application may not be edited\/changed after you click submit<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Here are the essay questions to help you prepare<\/u><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Why do you want to attend our school?<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • What career are you interested in?<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • What steps do you plan on taking to fulfill your career goals?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE SERIOUS ABOUT ATTENDING EARLY COLLEGE FOR YOUR HIGH SCHOOL YEARS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
