<\/p>\n\n\n\nThe group unfortunately had to cancel last year\u2019s Girls’ Engineering Exploration annual event scheduled for March at the Michigan Science Center. The group has created a virtual engineering series as an alternate way to bring the programming to families. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
There will be six virtual sessions, each 1 1\/2 hours starting at 11 a.m., offered this spring on a variety of engineering topics. Access to an internet connected computer\/device and ability to join a virtual audio and video platform will be needed. These sessions will be interactive and most will require additional hands on materials. Materials needed will be common household items and\/or SWE Detroit will get you the materials before the session so all can participate. The dates & topics can be found below.

If you are a returning participant from the fall virtual sessions, these will be completely new topics and activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n SWE will also be hosting an informational parent and teacher virtual session with resources and opportunities to further engage your child\/student in engineering activities.
