{"id":1362,"date":"2017-03-31T09:56:17","date_gmt":"2017-03-31T13:56:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/grizzell\/?p=1362"},"modified":"2017-03-31T09:56:17","modified_gmt":"2017-03-31T13:56:17","slug":"spring-cleaners-giving-back-action-team","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/grizzell\/2017\/03\/31\/spring-cleaners-giving-back-action-team\/","title":{"rendered":"Spring Cleaners &#8211; Giving Back Action Team"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Calling All Spring Cleaners!<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As part of Snow Elementary <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Leader In Me<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Program, we are asking you, our fabulous students, to reach out in our community to help others. \u00a0If you\u2019d like to be a part of the <\/span><b>April Clean-Up Club<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, simply volunteer to help clean-up a neighbor\u2019s, relative\u2019s or your very own yard. \u00a0\u201cClean-up\u201d could include pulling weeds, raking up leftover leaves and sticks from the fall, or picking up trash that has blown into the yard. \u00a0Please be sure to have a parent with you and get permission of the community member before cleaning up. \u00a0You are giving back to the community, so please offer to do this <\/span><b>free of cost.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Each time you help clean-up someone\u2019s yard, write the date and color a square on the chart that is available to you from your classroom teacher. \u00a0Once you have helped 5 members in the community, please return the chart to your teacher for acknowledgement of your leadership and kindness.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you for consideration in being a part of our Snow School&#8217;s Giving Back Action Team!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Calling All Spring Cleaners!
