{"id":1018,"date":"2016-09-13T17:22:52","date_gmt":"2016-09-13T21:22:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/grizzell\/?p=1018"},"modified":"2016-09-13T17:22:52","modified_gmt":"2016-09-13T21:22:52","slug":"reading-homework-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/grizzell\/2016\/09\/13\/reading-homework-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Reading Homework"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dear Families,<\/p>\n<p>We visited the school library today. \u00a0Students were able to choose books that they would like to check out. \u00a0Please encourage your child to read his\/her library books at home each night. 15-20 minutes is a good amount of time to read each evening. \u00a0If the book is way above his\/her reading level, you may read it to them.<\/p>\n<p>Mrs. Bush, our literacy coach, and I have been testing the students&#8217; reading levels. \u00a0Once we are all finished, we will have book bags ready to send home for homework on a weekly basis. \u00a0Both Mrs. Bush and I have been really impressed with this group&#8217;s reading accuracy and comprehension!
