Students discussed the importance of kindness this week as we read the book, “Have You Filled a Bucket Today?” We also discussed theme and found theme through various reading passages. Students chose a quote that they feel best represents their lives, and we will be creating a visual representation next week in class.<\/h3>\n

Students are also getting daily review lessons on basic grammar and mechanics of writing.<\/h3>\n

Finally students went to the media center to pick out new\u00a0“good fit” books.<\/h3>\n

There will be a quiz on Wednesday of next week reviewing the various standards covered in the last week’s homework sheets. These include: synonyms, antonyms, homonyms,compound words and contractions.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n
