We did a class review and power point on author&#8217;s purpose, and then the students completed a gallery walk with different pieces of writing. They had to distinguish what the purpose was for the writing and then give textual evidence to support their purpose.<\/p>\n<p>HOMEWORK: <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">5 DAYS OF READING LOGS ARE DUE ON <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">MONDAY<\/span>.
