Welcome to Mrs. Gorsline’s Blog!

Hello, my name is Jennifer Gorsline, and I am a teacher at the Dearborn Center for Math, Science, & Technology.  I have been a teacher in Dearborn since 2005 and have been at DCMST since Fall of 2006.  I graduated from Wayne State University with a major in Chemistry and a minor in Mathematics in 2003 and earned my Masters Degree in Instructional Technology in 2008 from the same Institution.  I taught the 9th-grade math class (Integrated Math 2) for my first 12 years at DCMST.  In that time I also taught Accelerated Precalculus, Calculus Foundations, Introduction to Mathematical Thinking, Computer Science, and AP Statistics.  Currently, I am still teaching AP Statistics, but I am also teaching AP Seminar and AP Research, the two halves of the AP Capstone Program.  For information and an updated weekly syllabus for my current classes, or information about the AP Capstone program, please click the appropriate links above.

March 2020 Covid-19 School Closures update: Mrs. Gorsline will be doing her best to continue with the AP Curriculum for all her classes in an entirely digital format.  Please click on the different courses above for more deatails about how I am planning to convert each course into a digital learning environment.
