Hello parents and community members,<\/p>\n

Once again DuVall Elementary will be delivering Fruit Baskets to Veteran’s Hospital in Detroit.\u00a0 This annual event which was lead by Mrs. Strez each year and will carry on this year.\u00a0 Those who have been involved over the past years know what a rewarding event this is for the children.<\/p>\n

The visit to the Veteran’s hospital will be on Wednesday May 23rd.<\/a>\u00a0 Prior to the visit, there is a lot of preparation that goes into making this a successful event each year.\u00a0 Therefore we are creating a sign-up in order to solicit as much help as possible.\u00a0 Please consider helping out in some way and encouraging your children to participate with decorating fruit trays and making cards.<\/p>\n

We still need drivers to pick up the fruit donations from different locations, including some in the downriver area and Detroit on Monday, May 21st<\/a> in order to help make this project successful!<\/p>\n
