Holiday Giving Back<\/strong><\/p>\n

For extra credit, Ms. Fahs’ class was asked to go and donate some articles of clothing or things that are no longer needed. In the spirit of Thanksgiving and Christmas, Hanukkah and Kwanzaa, it’s important to remember two things: family and giving back. You may not celebrate these faithful holidays, but what unites the world is when we come together and give back to the people in need, regardless of race, religion, ethnicity, etc.<\/p>\n

Halloween Week<\/strong><\/p>\n

The week of Halloween, Ms. Fahs’ class was discussing the different ways we harm the earth and how we can use geographic inquiry to solve the problems we’ve created. One thing we discussed was simply just picking up trash on the streets to keep our neighbourhood clean. As extra credit, students were asked to pick up as much trash as they could around their areas while they were trick or treating or taking a nice stroll around the neighborhood. Look how global minded we all are!!<\/p>\n\n\t\t
