Remember… be sure that you go to the Unis Orientation at 4:00 today.\u00a0 This is a very important meeting about middle school.<\/p>\n

The kids did a great job fasting their first day.\u00a0 Encourage them to eat early in the morning so they have some fuel for the day.<\/p>\n

Homework<\/strong><\/p>\n

Spelling<\/strong>– Write your words 2 times each in cursive on paper. Sign and correct your test.<\/p>\n

Social Studies<\/strong>– Sign your last states and capitals test<\/p>\n

Read your pledge minutes and write in your log.<\/p>\n

This Week\u2019s Objectives<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

Literacy<\/strong><\/p>\n

-The students will continue working with Greek and Latin affixes and author\u2019s purpose.<\/p>\n

Writing<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2013 The students will continue writing a narrative following the appropriate steps.<\/p>\n

Science<\/strong><\/p>\n

-The students will look at shadows and what creates them. Finally, graphing their length at various times of the day. Then, we will look at energy animals receive from the sun and will begin looking at ecosystems.<\/p>\n

Social Studies<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2013 The students will continue studying the events that led up to the American Revolution.<\/p>\n

Math<\/strong><\/p>\n

-The students will be working on multiple digit division in the divisor and dividend.<\/p>\n
