This week, M-Step testing will continue this week. This is the last week of M-Step testing! Once again, be sure that your child has a good breakfast and a good night\u2019s sleep.<\/p>\n

This week:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Wednesday- Late Start<\/p>\n

Thursday- Celebration Assembly<\/p>\n

Friday- Care to the Core<\/p>\n

Homework<\/strong><\/p>\n

Spelling<\/strong>– Write your words 2 times each in cursive on paper. Sign and correct your test.<\/p>\n

Read your pledge minutes and write in your log.<\/p>\n

This Week\u2019s Objectives<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

Literacy<\/strong><\/p>\n

-The students will continue working with Greek and Latin affixes.<\/p>\n

Writing<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2013 The students will begin writing a narrative following the appropriate steps.<\/p>\n

Science<\/strong><\/p>\n

-The students will finish looking at what causes nighttime and daytime. Then they will look at shadows and what creates them. Finally, graphing their length at various times of the day.<\/p>\n

Social Studies<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2013 The students will study the French and Indian War. Then we will look at how the colonists were treated by the King of England and how they stood up to him.<\/p>\n

Math<\/strong><\/p>\n

-The students will work on the measurement word problems with whole number and decimal multiplication by using fraction and decimal multiplication to express equivalent measurements. Then we will revisit division.<\/p>\n
