This week the 3rd and 5th grades will be having a Winter Concert on Thursday, December 13th at 2:00 p.m.\u00a0 Please be sure to join us!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Homework<\/strong><\/p>\n

Spelling<\/strong>– Write your words 3 times each in your spiral.\u00a0 Sign and correct your test.<\/p>\n

Read 20 minutes and write in your log.<\/p>\n

This Week\u2019s Objectives<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

Literacy<\/strong><\/p>\n

-The students will work at writing a letter with a purpose along with a partner, relationships of events in using chronological order and inferencing in text.<\/p>\n

Writing<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2013 The students will finish working on our opinion paper, how to use appropriate transition words and then look at the elements of a narrative.<\/p>\n

Science<\/strong><\/p>\n

-The students will take a quiz on the four spheres of Earth and then continue studying the water on Earth, where it is found and how to protect it from contaminants.<\/p>\n

Social Studies<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2013 The students will be researching explorers of the new world and then studying the Columbian Exchange.<\/p>\n

Math<\/strong><\/p>\n

-The students will continue working on dividing whole numbers and decimals with and without remainders, finishing Module 1 and then begin Module 2.<\/p>\n
