I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving with your friends and family!\u00a0 It’s now time to get back to work!\u00a0 This week, we have some special events taking place:<\/p>\n

Tuesday<\/strong>– Math-a-Thon<\/p>\n

Thursday<\/strong>-Celebration Assembly 2:15 to 3:15<\/p>\n

Friday<\/strong>– Parent Literacy Meeting @ 1:30<\/p>\n

Please make every effort to join us for the Parent Literacy Meeting on Friday afternoon.\u00a0 We really need to get our students reading and writing to insure success!\u00a0 Check out the chart below.<\/p>\n

\"Importance<\/p>\n

We had two students go home today sick.\u00a0 If your child is complaining of a stomachache or a sore throat, please keep them home.<\/p>\n

Tomorrow’s lunch menu will be Quesadillas\u00a0not Bean and Cheese Burritos.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Homework<\/strong><\/p>\n

Spelling<\/strong>– Write your words 3 times each in your spiral.\u00a0 Sign and correct your test.<\/p>\n

Math<\/strong>– Do Succeed pgs. 61-62.\u00a0 Practice for the Math-a-Thon<\/p>\n

Read 20 minutes and write in your log.<\/p>\n

This Week\u2019s Objectives<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

Literacy<\/strong><\/p>\n

-The students will work at analyzing a personal letter and identifying its parts, relationships of events in using chronological order and inferencing in text.<\/p>\n

Writing<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2013 The students will work on a new opinion paper and how to use appropriate transition words.<\/p>\n

Science<\/strong><\/p>\n

-The students will study the water on Earth, where it is found and how to protect it from contaminants.<\/p>\n

Social Studies<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2013 The students will be studying the American native Indians, their locations and comparing and contrasting them.<\/p>\n

Math<\/strong><\/p>\n

-The students will work on dividing whole numbers and decimals.<\/p>\n
