\u2022\u00a0All Hours completed the Algebra Readiness Test (30 questions, 30 minutes, No calculator). This is NOT\u00a0a test that is entered into the grade book for report cards. It is one of three criteria we use to determine if any students are ready for a placement in advanced math (Algebra 1) for 8th grade. Students need to score 22 out of 30 or better, which is 73%. The other two criteria are\u00a0a student’s summative test\/quiz average (must be 90% or higher) and their spring NWEA score (235 or higher). Any students that meet all three criteria will be given notification next week.<\/span>
\n\u2022\u00a0On Thursday, some students will be finishing up the Geometry unit test.<\/span>
\n\u2022\u00a0A Note about Retakes….anyone that would like to come in for a retake on either or both of their recent quizzes should plan on making time for it\u00a0as soon as possible before or after school.\u00a0The last day for retakes is Tuesday 6\/13.<\/span>

*May Khan Academy minutes:<\/strong><\/span>
\n– 120 minutes due\u00a06\/11 (NOTE THE EXTENDED\u00a0DUE DATE)<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n– make sure you have at least<\/span> 60 minutes of SKILL time! Many students have only been watching videos.<\/strong><\/span>
\n-Remember to use the “Search” feature to get to NWEA MAP Practice<\/strong><\/span>
