If you completed work and see that you didn&#8217;t earn full points, it is most likely that you did not earn the highest score for the skill in Khan or IXL OR you are missing one or more of the skills. If you choose to improve any of your scores or get caught up on anything from a previous week, please email me to let me know when you are finished with something so I can update your grade.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h5><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>ASSIGNMENTS<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">This week we are working on combining like terms to create equivalent expressions and also to solve equations. This is something you did in 6th grade, but without negative numbers. Also, I had assigned some Khan practice on these topics back in March. <\/span>Assignments are due THIS FRIDAY, May 15. <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The KHAN ASSIGNMENTS are:<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">* Video: Intro to Combining Like Terms<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">* Video: Simplifying expressions<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">* Exercise: Combining Like Terms with Negative Coefficients<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The IXL ASSIGNMENTS are:<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">6th grade skill<\/span>\u00a0 * Z10 (Solve equations involving like terms) <\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">7th grade skill<\/span>\u00a0 * R14 (Add and subtract linear expressions)<\/span><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">7th grade skill<\/span>\u00a0 * R New!
