In 8th grade we will also incorporate addition and subtraction of fractions specific to measuring so all denominators are either a 2,4, 8 or 16.  Your summative activity is to create a google slide show displaying your knowledge of measuring skills both in the classroom and in the workplace. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>7th Grade: <\/strong> This week we will begin our measuring unit which will be a review for most students. We focus on measuring practice in the classroom as well as using measuring to create a project. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>6th Grade:<\/strong> This week we will learn about the history of measuring.
