This weeks focus is on drawing out the shoe design on a printer paper and then learning how to use the Sketchup program by creating a turtle sandbox. Once that is complete we will move onto creating the shoe in Sketchup and print it.<\/p>\n<p><strong>7th Grade:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This weeks focus is on creating a font. We have watched videos about typography (the study of fonts) and we will continue with students researching current fonts to help them design their own ideas. Students will create a rough draft and then draw their fonts onto large drafting paper.<\/p>\n<p><strong>6th Grade:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We continue with board game design this week with students focusing on working in their groups to create both a board and rules.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>8th Grade: Students are working hard on their manufacturing unit.
