I hope that everyone is doing well and continuing to stay safe! I know that there remains a lot of confusion out there about what is counting and what isn\u2019t counting; hopefully, we will get more clarification on that this week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Needless to say, remember, it is about the LEARNING not the potential points. Keep getting those assignments in, so that you are on top of whatever comes next!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

8th Grade<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. There are 3 journals<\/strong> for you to complete. There is a Google Doc for these.<\/li>
  2. Read the article and story excerpt<\/strong> “What’s in an Inkblot? Some Say Not much” and Frankenstein<\/span> (Chapter 4). Both are in Google Classroom and both are in preparation for the story we will read after Spring Break.<\/li>
  3. Answer<\/strong> the 2 CER (TED) questions for “What’s in an Inkblot? Some Say Not much” and the 2 CER (TED) questions for Frankenstein There are separate Google Doc for this.<\/li>
  4. PSAT Friday<\/strong> \u2013 \u2013 we return after Spring Break \ud83d\ude42<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    2. Read the stories \u201cYeh-Shen\u201d and “Sootface”<\/strong> \u2013 In Google Classroom. <\/li>
    3. Watch<\/strong> the 3 part video of the story “Yeh-Shen” <\/li>
    4. Create<\/strong> a modern day and\/or culturally relevant of “Cinderella” – see Google Classroom for more details.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
