I hope that everyone is doing well and feeling healthy.  Here goes our first week of online learning!  I am going to attempt to continue with the lessons that I was going to teach if we were in school.  The difference being that we will not be able to do project based and 6th graders, instead of reading a novel, will be doing it through short stories.  If you are having technology issues, please let me know and we will try and work out a solution. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Below you will find a summary of the expectations for the week.  All actual materials are in Google Classroom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have any questions, please email me.  It&#8217;s NO bother!  Our classroom is now digital \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work through our new reality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>8th Grade<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Poetry essay <\/strong>and <strong>original poem<\/strong> are due TODAY (MONDAY) by 11:59PM.  There are individual Google Classroom assignments to submit these assignments to.<\/li><li>There are <strong>3 journals<\/strong> for you to complete.  One of them is the annual 8th grade yearbook question.  Ms. Bissonette and I will have to work on the yearbook during this time and we want to make sure that your yearbook is great despite our current situation.  There is a Google Doc for these.<\/li><li><strong>Third Book Check In<\/strong> for the Capstone Project &#8211; see Google Doc in Classroom.<\/li><li><strong>PSAT Friday<\/strong> (well sort of).  Answers will be posted on Friday.  Stay honest!  35 minutes!  You do not need to submit anything.  Just write your answers on a piece of paper.<\/li><li><strong>Read the story &#8220;Abuela Invents the Zero<\/strong>&#8220;.  More to do with this next week.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>ALL ASSIGNMENTS, EXCEPT ESSAY AND POEM, ARE DUE FRIDAY.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>6th Grade<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li> There are <strong>3 journals<\/strong> for you to complete.
