Frank Duryea, who was born on this day in 1869, with his brother Charles, built and operated the first automobile in the US. He also won America&#8217;s first automobile race.\u00a0 If you could participate in any type of race what would it be and why?\u00a0 Would it be on land, in the water, in the air?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Today students worked further on their group speeches with the goals of:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> 1. Outline their strategy\/approach to the speech <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2.Begin to write the speech \u2013 each person MUST contribute to the writing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>HOMEWORK:  None \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>6th Grade<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>JOURNAL:\u00a0 One Word Prompt- &#8211; Spirited<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> Students had 25 minutes to finish boards and practice presentations.
