We will be running hours 1, 2, and 3.  There will be NO electives and Monday will be an &#8220;A&#8221; day.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>8th Grade<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Journal:\u00a0 Ad &#8211; &#8211; Explain an ad that you have seen that is an excellent example of Ethos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Groups continued to work on their ad projects.  The struggle today was creating a slogan that not only was catch\/memorable, but also tied their visual to the slogan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>HOMEWORK:\u00a0 No homework.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>6th Grade<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>3rd Hour: <\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>JOURNAL:\u00a0 Would You Rather &#8211; &#8211; hit your funny bone 5 times until it isn\u2019t funny anymore or listen to fingernails scraping a chalkboard for 20 minutes?\u00a0 Explain. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1.Read \u201cAunt Misery\u201d page 754  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2.Create a plot diagram with a partner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>HOMEWORK:\u00a0 Bring your 2<sup>nd<\/sup> notebook to class on MONDAY.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>6th Hour<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>JOURNAL:\u00a0 Story Dice &#8211; &#8211; Have a seat, take your journal paper out, and wait for me to roll the dice. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1.Finish and discuss the plot diagram for \u201cAunt Misery\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2.Start to read \u201cThe Crane Maiden\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>HOMEWORK:\u00a0 Bring 2<sup>nd<\/sup> notebook to class on Monday.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Just a reminder that tomorrow is a half a day.
