What a whirlwind of a day!  It was great to see all of you and meet the new 6th graders.  Today in class I introduced myself to students and I got to learn a little about  them.  Today students learned the following about me:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>I am the oldest of three (I have a brother 2 years younger and a sister 8 years younger).<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>I graduated from Miami University in Ohio with a Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in English Literature and Political Science.  I earned my first Master&#8217;s Degree from The University of Michigan in English and my 2nd Master&#8217;s, also from U of M, in educational leadership.<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>This is my 22nd year of teaching.  I have always taught in Dearborn &#8211; first at Woodworth Middle School and then at STEM.<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>In my free time I love to read historical fiction, travel, do SIMPLE art projects, and go to Michigan football games (my family has had season tickets for over 40 years!).<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>My favorite beverages are Coke and iced tea (I STRONGLY dislike coffee).  My favorite foods are Thai, Mexican, Pizza, and chocolate \ud83d\ude42<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Lastly, this summer I traveled to New York City for the 4th of July fireworks.  WOW!  there is no better sight.<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>I can&#8217;t wait to get to know all of you a little better this school year.
