Thank you for doing your best &#8211; despite all the different challenges that you&#8217;ve faced. Thank you for making sure your child is attempting the work and working to their best ability in this new realm of remote learning. We&#8217;re almost done with this school year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Just a quick reminder that per the Governor&#8217;s orders for Continuity of Learning, schools are required to grade for this last card marking in <span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">ALL subjects including Specials. <\/span>Here are the district&#8217;s guidelines for grading ELEMENTARY students. Report cards will show these letters (M, P, L)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Meeting<\/strong> (M):\u00a0 regularly submitted work and attended check-ins<ul><li>Accuracy of work assessed on standards\/graded\/recorded in MiStar<\/li><li>High participation<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>Progressing (P):\u00a0 <\/strong>Submitted most assignments and attended some of the check-ins<\/li><li><strong>Limited Participation (L):\u00a0 <\/strong>with one of the following explanations<ul><li>Rarely or did not submit work (may be required to attend summer school)<\/li><li>Rarely attended check-in sessions (may be required to attend summer school)<\/li><li>Family hardship during the time of instruction (summer support offered)<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Participation includes doing assignments on <strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Google Classroom and assigned activities on specified websites. <\/span><\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Special Area Classes (Gym, Music, Art, Media)- You need to check into special teachers&#8217; blogs or Google Classroom to meet their criteria.
