Both 2nd and 3rd grade will be taking the MAP Growth: Math Grades 2-5 test and the MAP Growth: Reading Grades 2-5 test. These tests do NOT read them the directions or questions, and I cannot read it to them or reword any question. Please remind <strong>your student to read all of the directions, the entire question\/problem\/passage, and all answer choices before selecting an answer. <\/strong>The students have as much time as needed to complete the tests and I will break the test into 45 minute sessions to help ensure that they do not get fatigued. Students are able to use a whiteboard to complete the Math test and are ENCOURAGED to use the strategies that we have been using in class. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Parents please encourage your student to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Try their best and use their strategies. <\/li><li>Make sure their answers make sense.<\/li><li>Eat a healthy breakfast.<\/li><li>Get plenty of sleep (8-10 hours per night)<\/li><li>Relax &#8211; they are smart cookies!<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Just a reminder that we will be starting NWEA testing this week for Math and Reading.
