These sounds are tricky and students need to listen closely to here the sound each vowel makes. I am sending home 6 words that follow our pattern and 4 sight words. I will also give 5 familiar words that follow the pattern that we have not specifically studied in order to see if they are able to apply the pattern. Each test will have 15 words.
