We read a book , The Big Orange Splot<\/em> in class. It is about diversity in a neighborhood. In this book, a man repaints his house to reflect his colorful dreams. At first his neighbors are appalled, but one by one they begin to embrace their dreams\/personalities through their own houses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Objective: The students used the Engineering Design Process to create a house that represents their dreams or personalities using items from our MakerSpace area or they drew their dream house on paper. We have already discovered that we have very diverse personalities. We have interests in bugs, soccer, flowers, rainbows, unicorns, animals, etc..<\/p>\n\n\n\n
