{"id":3405,"date":"2019-10-30T08:36:49","date_gmt":"2019-10-30T12:36:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/flatt\/?p=3405"},"modified":"2019-10-30T08:36:51","modified_gmt":"2019-10-30T12:36:51","slug":"halloween-costumes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/flatt\/2019\/10\/30\/halloween-costumes\/","title":{"rendered":"Halloween Costumes"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Any costumes must be consistent with the dress code policy and MAY NOT interfere with the learning process or the teaching in the classroom.<br>The following rules must be followed if a student chooses to wear a costume:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>No Props or Weapons of ANY KIND<br><\/li><li>No Masks<br><\/li><li>No Make-up<br><\/li><li>No Hats or Wigs<\/li><li>No Costumes that are revealing<br><\/li><li>Skirts and shorts must meet the fingertip length rule<br><\/li><li>Nothing offensive<br><\/li><li>Nothing distracting<br><\/li><li>No fake (or real) blood<br><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Any violators will be asked to change or be sent home.&nbsp;<br>In Middle School, classes do not celebrate Halloween, students should not bring bags of candy to school to distribute or any other treats.
