This will give you an opportunity to see your teacher (over your computer using a website or through the Google Meet app), ask any questions about the work, have a discussion and see your classmates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Teachers will be posting assignments on Mondays and work will be due on Sundays. Check Google Classroom for assignments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>To join a Google Meet<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>In a web browser, enter&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/meet.google.com\/\">https:\/\/meet.google.com<\/a>&nbsp;(or download the Google Meet app on your smartphone\/iPad)<\/li><li>Click \u201cJoin or Start a Meeting\u201d (you will be joining a meeting)<\/li><li>Enter the nickname of the Google Meet (nickname will be emailed to your Dearborn Public Schools email account 5 minutes before the start of the Google Meet by your teacher) and posted to the stream in your Google Classroom.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>These are when your teachers\/subject areas are available to meet with you:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table><tbody><tr><td>  <\/td><td> <strong>Monday<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Tuesday<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Wednesday<\/strong><\/td><td><strong>Thursday<\/strong><\/td><td>  <strong>Friday<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Google Meet <\/strong><br><strong> 11am- 12 pm<\/strong><\/td><td>   ELA<\/td><td>Math<\/td><td><strong>Global Studies<\/strong><\/td><td>ELA<\/td><td>   Math<\/td><\/tr><tr><td><strong>Google Meet <\/strong><br><strong>12 pm- 1 pm<\/strong><\/td><td> <strong>Global Studies<\/strong><\/td><td>Science<\/td><td>Extended Core<\/td><td>  Science<\/td><td>Extended Core<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Google Meet Etiquette Guide for Students<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" type=\"1\"><li>Dress appropriately.<\/li><li>Find a quiet space with an appropriate background.<\/li><li>Have notebook and pen\/pencil on hand for taking notes. <\/li><li>When you enter the Google Meet turn off your microphone by muting yourself (if you are already not muted).<\/li><li>When you have a question, type in the textbox and wait for your teacher to call on you.<\/li><li>When you have something to contribute to what is being said, but it is not your turn, use the chat feature in the right-hand corner.&nbsp;<\/li><li>Wait for the teacher to call on you to unmute yourself.&nbsp;<\/li><li>Only one student should contribute\/talk at a time<\/li><li>Look into the camera when you are talking.<\/li><li>Stay attentive.
