STEM Challenge: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The STEM Challenge is an interactive 6 week virtual competition, where rising high school students in teams of four from all over Michigan will compete for Scholarship money to Wayne State University. Student’s will work with professors, business professionals and collegiate mentors to come up with an innovative solution to one of five challenge prompts that they will choose from! At the end of the challenge participants will submit a 6-8 minute video and a 2,000 word informal research paper that explains their solution and the impact that it will have. Student’s work will be judged by an esteemed panel of WSU faculty and staff. The STEM Challenge runs from June 22 to July 31, registration for the STEM Challenge is open!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Coding Challenges: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Coding challenges are weekly programming tutorials that are designed for viewers to learn the basics of coding through games and other fun applications! These challenges are viewable through the C2 Pipeline Innovation and Curiosity Center’s YouTube Channel. Full step-by-step written instructions, as well as the full code for each challenge can be found at <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Summer Day Camps<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Virtual summer day camps for Detroit-Metro students run Monday – Thursday. C2 Pipeline will provide all of our participants with the appropriate Zoom link to log onto our virtual programming and a package containing all of the supplies needed to participate in hands-on and engaging camp activities. Students who attend one of the C2 Pipeline schools will receive a full ride scholarship to attend camp, the scholarship will be applied at the end of the application process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
