\u00a0If you know students who enjoy explaining big ideas and thinking creatively, I want to share an opportunity that might be perfect for them.The\u00a0Breakthrough Junior Challenge<\/a>\u00a0is a global competition for students between the ages of 13 and 18. The Challenge invites them to create a short video\u2014no longer than two minutes\u2014that clearly and creatively explains a concept in life sciences, physics, or mathematics.Watch the 2024 winning video to get inspiredIn 2024, winner Jasmine Eyal explained mechanogenetic cellular engineering through her grandmother\u2019s experience with diabetes.<\/a>View video<\/a>The winning student earns a $250,000 college scholarship. The teacher that inspired them gets a $50,000 award, and the student\u2019s school receives a $100,000 high-tech science lab.
