{"id":281,"date":"2018-05-16T11:09:13","date_gmt":"2018-05-16T15:09:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/fetterla1\/?p=281"},"modified":"2018-05-22T07:36:06","modified_gmt":"2018-05-22T11:36:06","slug":"week-of-may-14","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/fetterla1\/2018\/05\/16\/week-of-may-14\/","title":{"rendered":"Week of May 14:"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Monday 5\/14:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>SSR for 15 minutes<\/li>\n<li>Introduce <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/document\/d\/1KTeqGT1HRV9Lx9qKTdJBLiKXtENzidTshDD_ApM-w64\/edit?usp=sharing\">R&amp;J Movie Notetaker<\/a> &#8211; students need to keep track of character personalities and relationships as we watch the movie.<\/li>\n<li>We watched Act 1 of Romeo and Juliet &#8211; from the opening brawl to the part where Romeo and Juliet first speak to one another.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Tuesday 5\/15:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>SSR for 15 minutes<\/li>\n<li>Students answered the questions for <a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1wHilAx6IVEz762bfEksW1neLfR_ebd-W\/view?usp=sharing\">R&amp;J Act 1, Scene 5<\/a> and turned them in at the end of the hour.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Wednesday 5\/16:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>SSR for 10-12 minutes<\/li>\n<li>Students were introduced to the <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/document\/d\/1ZWbGt0DWJSVIFhRWHdKprn0niVmM5z3h8QCFN1ka4c0\/edit?usp=sharing\">R&amp;J Performance Project<\/a>.\u00a0 We looked at student examples and assessed them in order to better understand the rubric and how it works.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Thursday 5\/17:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>SSR for 15 minutes<\/li>\n<li>Students read through and selected scenes for the R&amp;J Performance Project. Students received the <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/document\/d\/1w1SozhQBKVUyC_nLPzfvzjTSWzvAQNU0BGFnNGaaGC0\/edit?usp=sharing\">Group Project Scene Analysis<\/a> and were asked to fill out the front side.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Friday 5\/18:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>SSR for 10 Minutes<\/li>\n<li>Students viewed Act 2 of the 1968 version of Romeo and Juliet.
