Enjoy your mini break!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Thursday 3\/12:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We continued punctuation power by locating examples of extra punctuation in quotes within published texts.<\/li>\n<li>We conducted a <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/document\/d\/1GKhm9PnxWRCWs4_yb3r0X_-dpXy4LJm48wj34NBkBf4\/edit?usp=sharing\">character interview<\/a> so that students could explore how the main characters in their lit circle novels think and how they feel about aspects of the essential question.<\/li>\n<li>We <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/document\/d\/1Za-b0jSWBf4tgLz24J7ivjwRsGwlROtSHzyWxTnE5_c\/edit?usp=sharing\">introduced the essay<\/a> and its general requirements. If you click the link, the first page is the requirements for <strong><em>Honors LA 2<\/em><\/strong>, and the second page contains the requirements for <em><strong>LA 2.<\/strong><\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Friday 3\/13:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We continued punctuation power by using photos as inspiration in order to come up with our own examples.<\/li>\n<li>We began working towards uncovering our claims for the essay by filling out the first two parts of the <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/document\/d\/1_frxVgQtZehgnA-4Ks6cj1UdsfFbGQKWe9PGA29FsXQ\/edit?usp=sharing\">&#8220;Excavate Your Claim&#8221;<\/a> handout.\u00a0 Do not fill in the buckets at the bottom of the second page!
