Task<\/strong>: You will research one important Egyptian pharaoh and create a poster\/ PowerPoint detailing his\/her accomplishment and history. <\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n (Checklist) Below is a list of items that should be contained on your poster\/ in your PowerPoint: <\/span><\/p>\n 1._____ Pharaoh\u2019s (king\/queen) name—<\/span> 1 point <\/b><\/p>\n 2._____ Year\u2019s in which your pharaoh (king\/queen) reigned (had power)— <\/span>1 point<\/b><\/p>\n 3._____ Was your pharaoh (king\/queen) a part of the Old Kingdom, Middle Kingdom, New Kingdom or other of Egyptian history— <\/span>1 point<\/b><\/p>\n 4._____ Accomplishments (ex. Pyramids, tombs, temples, monuments, territory gained, etc) — <\/span>2 points <\/b><\/p>\n 5._____ Brief biography (if information exists: family, children, wives, husbands, how pharaoh died, etc) — <\/span>2 points<\/b><\/p>\n 6._____ Description of sources used for information. This should be on the back of your poster and should describe where your information came from. <\/span>2 points<\/b><\/p>\n 7._____ <\/span>Minimum of 3 pictures to decorate your poster\/PowerPoint<\/b>, preferably one of your pharaoh and pictures of any accomplishments found — <\/span>3 points <\/b><\/p>\n 8._____ Definition of pharaoh — <\/span>1 point <\/b><\/p>\n 9._____ Map of Egypt showing where your pharaoh ruled —<\/span> 1 point<\/b><\/p>\n <\/p>\n 5 points<\/b> will be left for neatness and planning of poster as well as presentation. All space should be use well. <\/span><\/p>\n You will have 2 days to complete your poster in class followed by a brief presentation to the class on your findings on the third day.
